Fall Fun
As a celebration of Fall and Halloween, Kindergarten watched a video of the book Pumpkin, Pumpkin about the life cycle of a pumpkin and completed an activity to complete a pumpkin life cycle. Each student then drew their own pumpkin or jack-o-lantern and then completed some math problems in a PowerPoint Math Book.
Kindergarten and 1st Grade pretended to be seeds growing into tall trees as they learned about the life cycle of a tree. After this role-playing each student drew their very own fall tree in KidPix. Enjoy the fall foliage from Kindergarten and 1st Grade!
International Dot Day 2010
In celebration of International Dot Day on September 15th-ish, Kindergarten students listened to The Dot by Peter Reynolds. They then decorated their own dot in KidPix. This was the first project of the school year and for most of the Kindergarten students it was their first time ever using KidPix.
